Katrin Krömer took over as head of employee and manager development at Deutsche Bahn in April 2018. Previously, she held the position of managing director at DB JobService GmbH, a Deutsche Bahn subsidiary dedicated to providing Group companies and employees with consulting and support services in connection with staff-related change processes.
In 2009-2015, she was the managing director of the Federal Employment Agency in the Berlin-Brandenburg region, where she was responsible for HR, finances, controlling, and other shared service functions.
Before 2009, Ms. Krömer spent almost 10 years at McKinsey & Company, where she worked as a consultant and ultimately became an associate principal. While with McKinsey, her work for clients focused in particular on comprehensive transformational processes designed to maximize performance levels in service activities and company management.
Ms. Krömer is a member of the supervisory board at DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH and DB Services GmbH.
